We have been helping to deliver NHS Health Checks since 2010. We offer a full call/recall service, a suite of reports to monitor programme performance and a secure web-based wizard for Health Checks to be carried out in community settings.

Practice Focus

Clinical data extraction, streamlining data submissions, clinical audits and additional reporting, using SNOMED CT and ReadV2. Practices stay in control of their data.

A web app allowing patients to complete a Health Check at home and access referral services tailored to their needs.

QMS is a limited company incorporated in 2003. Based in Bournemouth, our customers are located throughout the UK. We are a Microsoft certified partner and are registered with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.  Our team of staff includes expertise in clinical general practice and public health, practice management, GP clinical systems, and software development in the NHS. Our technical team have a particular focus on data extraction and analysis from primary care.

Meet the Team

Martin Bethell

Managing Director

Martin is a practicing GP, with 30 years experience in UK general practice. He has a background in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes at practice and Borough level, and experience in GP contracts, performance monitoring and Public Health. He has a particular focus on organisational development, and sees great opportunities to use data from groups of practices to improve service planning, service efficiency and clinical care.

Andy Bethell

Technical Director

Andy is Technical Director for QMS, responsible for leading product design and development and has been with QMS since it was formed in 2004. Andy is a career IT professional with a broad experience in a variety of business areas including high performance computing, banking and web development prior to moving into Healthcare IT and helping to start Quality Medical Solutions.
